python3-netifaces-dbg software package provides portable network interface information for Python 3 (debug extension), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-netifaces-dbg
python3-netifaces-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-netifaces-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-netifaces-dbg *
You will get with python3-netifaces-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
